Outside Water Taps
Have you ever been out side housing around the house, cleaning the windows and waiting for the garden and all of a sudden you can’t reach anymore?
You then begin to look for the other outside water tap and realise it is all the way on the other side of the house.
You begin to drag the house all the way around to the other side of the house where the 2nd Outside water taps are.plug it in and then realises it still does not reach where you want it to.
Plug it in. and then realises it still does not reach where you want it to.
And…… then realises it still does not reach where you want it to.
then realises it still does not reach where you want it to.
Some people would say “Well buy a bigger hose” but do you really want to carry around a really long heavy hose, NO.
Especially when all it comes done to is some prepare when designing your home.
Here are 3 questions you should answer when trying to figure out where to put your outside water taps.
- Where will you need to reach with your hose?
- Do you plan to have a really long hose that will mount to the wall with a retractable wheel that you will place in the middle of the area you would like to reach?
- Will you have a house that you will move from tap to tap?
If you can answer all these questions.
Then you should have no trouble working out how many outside water tap you will need and where you want them to be.
Generally, you will be allowed two outside water taps.
if you don’t want to add anymore….
Than… I would suggest placing one outside your garage and the 2nd on the opposite back corner.
If you want to add more.
You could place a 3rd one the other back corner
If you wanted to add 4th you could add this other side water tap to the other front corner.
When ever designing a new home or trying to work out where you want a something…
