Father’s Day Special
Daniel Simone:
As you are all aware, Father’s Day will come up this Sunday so I thought for today episode a very special episode I get my father Joe Simone. Say hello to everyone dad!
Joe Simone:
Hi everyone up there! How are you all?
Daniel Simone:
What I thought I do just get him in here and though about we have a friendly chat. Maybe he can tell some stories. Possibly about me growing up, or possibly when I was learning and some of the thing you used to teach me, and maybe some funny stories.
Joe Simone:
Daniel was a very curious little boy. He always like to get his hands on the things, touched things, experiment with things. He always imitated me. Say for example, we all sitting around the desk with paperwork and he pretended to be doing work too.
Daniel Simone:
That is right actually. I was sitting there thinking I know what I was doing but I had no idea I was doing. Say I have a pen and some paper on like oh I’m a big man.
Joe Simone:
Yes that right he thought he was a big man in that time. Yeah he tried to imitate what I was doing, walk and doing something he do the same thing and try it around, he mimicked me.
Daniel Simone:
Yeah that was good. I think that Father’s Day coming up it actually gives the chance to sit down and have a little bit of a chat. Reminisce on how we grew up and some of the presents we used to give you I was talking it with my brothers before. Talking about some of funny presents we gave you when we used to have the Father’s day stores in school. I lot of you may have kids doing the Father’s day stores in school we used to bring back these presents and we thought that was so amazing to give it to you. It was good like now looking back like as we grow up these little presents absolutely nothing but to us giving a present to your father and you loved every single present. No matter what or how rubbish it was meant the world to you.
Joe Simone:
Yeah to get like little stores, they are amazing little stores and when you are gone about trying to find something suit your father it just does not matter what instead of having a big gift giving to you that is a massive thing for you to go purchasing things from the school stores and bring to me. It was just amazing. Whether if there was a matchbox car, or a picture frame, or just a thought of getting something from your son it was nothing more precious getting something like that. It was the most precious thing in the world that is why a son and a father’s relationship is something that is very real and very out there like it can be you can be bitter or you can be follow your father or follow your son or help each other. I think what does is to help each other. A son tries to following the father’s footsteps it is up to the father to make sure his son is going the right way which I think that Daniel have done so much amazing things.
Daniel Simone:
That is quite a good message. There for a lot of fathers – even to myself father seek to my 7th month old little girl – who will be celebrating their first Father’s day. Now that I’m growing up being a dad, I look back on how my dad raised me. It was good to actually hear his tips. Thanks for joining me! On this episode.
Joe Simone:
No problem.
Daniel Simone:
Do you have anything to say to all of the fathers out for the coming up this Father’s Day?
Joe Simone:
To say to all of the fathers out there just really appreciate the day. Spend time with your family because it was a very precious time and enjoy your children. Happy Father’s Day!
Daniel Simone:
Happy Father’s day from all of us here in Simone Homes. I hope you enjoy the time with your family. Thanks for watching.
