Don’t Run To Turn Your Alarm Off!!!
You come home…
Get to your front door
Struggle to find your keys
(You know it always happens)
You finally open your door
Your alarm goes off.
Now you have to run
(No one likes to run)
Over to where keypad is
And turn it off.
All of this and you just got home.
If this keeps happening you might just give up and not even put the alarm on at all.
Well, let me help that from happening.
Below are 3 tips to help you stop this from happening.
- Position you alarm keypad to the most commonly used entry and exit door. If it’s the garage door that is used most then place it there close by, or if you use the front door position it somewhere in the entry.
- If you use both doors the same then you might want to program a time that allows to you to get inside and walk over to the keypad and enter the code. 60 seconds should be plenty, But if you have kids like me then maybe 10 minutes….
- The last option is to get a remote control for your alarm. If you already have a remote for you garage and there are spare buttons on it you should be able to get your alarm programmed onto the same remote so you don’t have to carry around two.
So now you don’t have to stress anymore everytime you get home and have to turn the alarm off.
